Jennifer Lopez put on a happy face for her fans on Saturday, in spite of her rumored marital woes.
The singer, 54, who spent her second wedding anniversary on the opposite coast from her husband Ben Affleck, shared three new photos on social media, which she captioned with an optimistic message.
‘Today is gonna be a great day,’ she wrote, with a heart and praying hands emojis. ‘Happy Saturday everybody ☀️’
A selfie from her bathroom shows JLo looking back at the camera wearing a white halter T-shirt with a pair of white jeans and a brown leather belt.
Her hair was pulled back into a smooth bun and her makeup looked camera ready with a shiny neutral lip.
She looked like she was ready to run errands, holding a large brown leather shoulder bag.
In two head shot photos from her bed, the singer wore large gold hoop earrings.
One photo shows the mother-of-two smiling with her mouth closed while the other her grinning broadly.
The hitmaker’s fans went wild for the new snaps.
‘It’s a new JENERATION,’ wrote one ardent admirer. ‘Gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ Happy Saturday Jennifer! You got that glow!!! ‘ exclaimed a fan.
Others referred to her upcoming birthday on July 24.
‘Happy birthday weekend ❤️✨’ wrote one fan, while another got a little more personal with ‘Next week YOU on the 24th and me on the 26th Of July we will celebrate life…Always smile, you are Joy and Care for all of us. Love you baby…✨’
Lopez and Affleck spent the second anniversary of their Las Vegas wedding apart on July 16. They held a more lavish ceremony for family and friends on August 23, 2022.
Neither has spoken publicly about their alleged issues, but the couple did lay out their different approaches to life in her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, released earlier this year.
Lopez acknowledged that her husband didn’t seem ‘very comfortable with me doing all of this,’ referring to being so open about her private life.
‘He loves me, he knows I’m an artist, and he’s gonna support me in every way he can because he knows you can’t stop me from making the music I made,’ she said, ‘But that doesn’t mean he’s comfortable being the muse.’
Affleck, in the film, took a reasoned approach, saying ‘Getting back together, I said, “Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media,” then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re gonna marry a boat captain and you go, “Well, I don’t like the water.”‘
