Eamonn Holmes has made a surprising confession about his marriage on GB News, thanking fans for their support following the announcement of his split from Ruth Langsford.
The TV presenter shared an unexpected story from his youth while chatting with co-stars Ellie Costello and sports reporter Paul Coyte.
Eamonn recalled playing tennis at an all-girls school as a boy, admitting it was “another story”.
He then revealed: “A girl had stolen my racket which gave her an excuse to kiss me.”
When Ellie responded to this charming tale, Eamonn confessed: “I know, I married her,” to which she replied: “Did you, that’s really sweet. That’s a nice love story.”
This revelation came after the TV star walked off GB News yesterday (July 2) after feeling unwell during the programme.
He had been interviewing Maria Caulfield, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health before leaving the breakfast show in the hands of Isabel to present alone for an additional hour and a half.
Holmes has certainly been dealing with a lot recently, including the loss of his mother, various health issues, and an impending divorce from his Loose Women star wife, according to the Mirror.
