STUNNING: Buckingham Palace discloses that King Charles is urgently arranging plans for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with just a few days left to live.

Ruth Langsford has returned to ITV’s Loose Women two months after announcing her split from Eamonn Holmes – and avoided any mention of her upcoming divorce.

During her TV comeback on Monday, July 22 she didn’t touch upon her break up from fellow TV presenter Holmes after 14 years of marriage and a relationship that lasted 27 years.

She wore a white top and a bright red blazer, with rings on her wedding finger, beaming and saying, “Thank you very much,” as applause greeted her from the studio audience.

She welcomed everyone to the first episode of the week on *Loose Women*, expressing joy at their company.

After talking about the items coming up, Coleen Nolan turned to Ruth after her two-month break and said: “Wait, wait, wait, before you carry on can I just say, I’m so, so happy that you’re back.”

After huge applause, Janet Street-Porter joked: I’m not, I was left with her and her,” gesturing to Coleen and Brenda Edwards. Ruth added:”I’m sorry Janet, I won’t do it again. It’s very nice to be back with you all,” before ploughing into the show.

Ruth was missing from TV screens since the shock announcement of the split in May but Eamonn has continued to work at GB News in recent weeks and has not discussed his impending divorce on screen.

Ahead of Ruth’s return to the Loose Women panel, sources close to the 64-year-old said she has been left hurt and upset over her marriage breakdown and that she wouldn’t be discussing the split with Eamonn in depth on the show. Friends said she wanted it to be a normal show and was keen to get back to work, reports The Mirror.

A friend told the Mirror: “It has been a tough few weeks but now she feels it is time for her to get back to Loose Women. It is a job she loves doing and even though the split has been very tough, life must go on.”

Eamonn and Ruth met in 1997 when they were introduced by mutual friends and they then dated for over a decade before Eamonn popped the question and they married in 2010. Before the split they had not been photographed together for two years.

They have a son, Jack, who was born in 2002, while Eamonn has three older children from his first wife, Gabrielle, whom he divorced before marrying Ruth.
