Devastated Vicky Pattison is in tears after her £200,000 engagement ring was stolen only weeks before her wedding to Ercan Ramadan.

Vicky Pattison has reportedly been left devastated and ‘crying her eyes out’ after her engagement ring was stolen just weeks before her wedding.

The TV personality, 36, is set to tie the knot with fiancé Ercan Ramadan in just five weeks time, after he popped the question in February 2022.

The former TOWIE star, 30, got down on one knee on the beach in Dubai and proposed with a stunning emerald cut diamond ring, estimated to have cost around £200,000.

The emerald cut diamond ring was inside a bag which was stolen off a train in her native Newcastle, leaving her ‘distraught’.

A source told The Sun: ‘Vicky is absolutely distraught. She’s been inconsolable – crying her eyes out and frantic about the whole thing.

‘Her engagement ring obviously means the world to her and to lose it weeks before the wedding makes it an even more bitter pill to swallow.

‘She’s reported it to the police, who are handling the situation, and is hoping to get it back somehow.’

It comes after Vicky revealed that her and Ercan’s nuptials in Italy will all be captured on film for a two-part special on E4.

Announcing plans for her wedding to hit the small screen, she took to her Instagram to reveal: ‘THE NEWS IS FINALLY OUT!!!!! We’re getting married AND YOU’RE ALL INVITED!!!! (Well to watch on @e4grams)

‘WE’RE MAKING A WEDDING SHOW!! @ercan_ram and I are super excited to share our journey with @e4grams!!! No doubt there’ll be tears, tantrums and tense moments over table plans! (And that’s just Ercky turkey).

‘But ultimately, we can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives surrounded by our incredible friends and family- and it just wouldn’t be the same without you guys along for the ride… the people who’ve supported me when it looked like I was never going to get my happily ever after…

‘I can’t wait for you all to see it! Are you excited to watch?’

In the two-part reality special premiering on E4, Vicky Pattison: Destination Wedding will follow Vicky through the emotional rollercoaster as she prepares for her vows with Ercan.

With the support of their family and friends, the couple plan for an Italian wedding celebration sure to be packed with the lavish style of Vicky’s dreams, and a guestlist peppered with some familiar friends.

Speaking about the news, Vicky added: ‘Ercan and I are super excited to share our journey with E4 viewers.

‘No doubt there’ll be tears, tantrums and tense moments over table plans! But ultimately, we can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives surrounded by our incredible friends and family. I’m finally getting my happily ever after.’

Channel 4’s Genna Gibson commented: ‘It’s an honour to bring a reality royal wedding to E4.

‘Vicky has shared her unique warmth and wit through many highs and lows over the years – growing up on our screens – and this two-part special is sure to be filled with emotions as she and Ercan get ready to celebrate the biggest day of their lives.’

The specials will air on E4 and be available to stream on Channel 4 later this year.

The trip comes after Vicky revealed that even though her wedding day is costing ‘the same price as a house’ she still doesn’t have enough money to fund her dream day.

She admitted that her celebrity wedding planner has told her that her fund won’t even cover the flowers she wants.

Speaking to Rock My Wedding, Vicky admitted that despite trying to be a little sensible in places, she will be wearing four wedding dresses on the day.

But she has limited certain luxuries and won’t be splashing out on the flower installation she had her eye on for their welcome dinner.

Vicky said: ‘I knew weddings were a big money business and, like I say, it’s not my first rodeo in this space, but everything’s just got more and more expensive.

‘I was really shocked. I don’t want to be paying it off for the next 10 years, or remortgaging my house for a wedding,’ she added.

She admitted that at first she thought she was going to have the ‘wedding of the century’ but the reality quickly set in when she realised the cost.

Unfortunately, her wedding planner revealed that what she wanted was impossible with her initial wedding fund.

After hosting 300 guests for their engagement party in London’s 14 Hills, Vicky and Ercan decided to officially marry at Marylebone Town Hall with an attendance of 100.

They will then head to Italy for a welcome dinner, wedding ceremony and evening reception, which has attracted 150 guests so far.

Vicky teased that she will be wearing a sixties-inspired gown for her UK wedding and said she loves the short veil and big sunglasses look.
