BREAKING: Prince Harry Set for a Meeting with King Charles Next Week, With Meghan Markle Confirmed to Stay Behind.

Prince Harry could meet up with King Charles during his holiday to Balmoral, but it may be too much for Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry is said to be prioritising a visit to the UK to catch up with the Royal Family, but it is not a trip Meghan Markle would be up for, according to a source.

The Duke of Sussex may be keen to catch up with King Charles but his wife reportedly has too much else on her plate to consider a return to the country she had such a difficult time making her home.

An insider told Closer magazine: “Harry is very anxious to go home and see his dad, catch up with his friends for his birthday in September and also pay a visit to his aunt, Princess Anne

But that situation hasn’t changed for Meghan.

“She’s respectful that Harry has to go back to his home for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him.”

The Duchess has launched a number of new projects away from the Firm this year, including her new brand American Riviera Orchard, new Netflix shows and a new podcast with Lemonada Media.

The source continued: “She’s [Meghan] got way too much on her plate with the brand and her new cooking show, as well as looking after the kids.

“The last thing she needs is the stress of going back to the UK, where she fears she’d be heckled again in public, which she finds incredibly painful.”

An insider previously confirmed to Express.co.uk that the Sussexes have not been officially invited to join the Royal Family at Balmoral in August.

Nevertheless, Harry may be hoping to meet up with his father after the rest of the family has left Scotland, to avoid an awkward confrontation with Prince William.

The insider said: “Harry and Meghan will not be joining the rest of the Royal Family in August.

“The King is keen for it to be a happy family occasion which will see members of the Royal Family come together for just over a week to discuss plans for the future and to unwind.

“The Sussexes will not be part of that meeting but may join the King at a later date when the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family have left.”

One factor that could persuade Harry to come over is the King’s desire to build a stronger relationship with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The source explained to Express.co.uk: “Charles really does want to build a better relationship with Archie and Lili and spend quality time with them.

“So it’s possible that the Sussexes might go alone at the end of the summer just before the King returns to London, but it’s highly unlikely given the current tensions.

“The most likely option is for the King to keep in contact with his grandchildren via Skype calls so that he doesn’t lose touch with what they’re getting up to.”

Prince Harry may be looking forward to meeting with King Charles during his upcoming visit to Balmoral, but Meghan Markle is not likely to join him on this trip. While the Duke of Sussex is eager to reconnect with his family members and friends in the UK, sources suggest that Meghan is focused on her various projects and responsibilities in the United States.A source close to the couple revealed to People magazine, “Harry is excited to spend time with his father and other relatives during his visit to the UK. He is also looking forward to celebrating his birthday with loved ones. However, Meghan has a lot going on with her brand and her upcoming projects, in addition to taking care of their children.”Meghan’s busy schedule includes the development of her American Riviera Orchard brand, producing new content for Netflix, and working on her latest podcast with Lemonada Media. The source added, “Meghan is fully supportive of Harry’s decision to visit his home country, but she has her hands full with her own commitments at the moment. She is also hesitant to return to the UK due to the public scrutiny and criticism she has faced in the past.”Despite Harry’s desire to see his father and other family members, the couple has not received an official invitation to join the Royal Family at Balmoral in August. It is possible that Harry may arrange to visit his father after the family gathering is over, to avoid any potential tension with his brother, Prince William.Sources close to the Royal Family shared, “Charles is eager to strengthen his bond with his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet. He values quality time spent with them and hopes to build a closer relationship. While it is uncertain if the Sussexes will visit Balmoral this summer, Charles is determined to stay connected with his grandchildren through virtual means.”As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen if Harry will make the trip to Balmoral alone or if Meghan will eventually decide to join him for a visit.
