Katie Price, 45, is planning to have a baby with her boyfriend of five months JJ Slater, 31.

Friends of the mum of five reveal she’s keen to try for a child with Married At First Sight star JJ before ‘it’s too late.’

Katie turns 46 in May with a friend telling The Sun she is ready to get serious about her future family plans: ‘She’s happy and she has always said she wants even more children so that’s what she aiming for.’

‘She knows she doesn’t have much time if she wants to try,’ the insider added. ‘Katie has always fallen pregnant quite easily in the past, but now she is older, she worries it might not happen as quickly so she doesn’t want to wait until it’s too late.

‘Katie knows some people will think it’s too soon with JJ but she doesn’t care what other people think – she’s confident in their relationship and thinks he’d be a great dad.’

The former glamour model has five children: oldest son Harvey, 21, whose dad is Dwight Yorke and Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-husband Peter Andre.

She also has ten-year-old Jett and eight-year-old Bunny, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

Last year Katie heartbreakingly discussed her failed IVF attempt as she tried for baby number six with her ex fiancé Carl Woods.

Speaking to Michelle Visage on her Rule Breakers podcast, Katie spoke of her hopes to expand her brood with Carl.

The host asked: ‘Are you done having babies?’

‘No, are you joking?,’ Katie replied, before she added: ‘I tried IVF last year and it failed – so I’m going to try again, try again. I’m not giving up. I need more babies.’

‘No, unfortunately I can only use what I’ve got,’ Katie explained.

Appearing on the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast in May 2023, Katie revealed she doesn’t think she could carry another baby herself.

She said: ‘I have got a surrogate, I haven’t got any eggs anymore, I’m 44, I want another baby so what am I supposed to do? I can’t pop it out.’

When host Lewis Raymond Taylor asked who would be having the baby, Katie said: ‘I have got this lady, it will be my egg – she’s been a fan of mine for years and she does do surrogacy.’

Asked who the father would be, Katie replied: ‘If I was with someone it would be with them, if not it would be a sperm donor.’

The Married At First Sight UK star, 31, who’s 14 years Katie’s junior, spoke exclusively to MailOnline about his relationship with Katie, 45, which he says makes him very ‘happy.’

After Katie reached out to JJ in December to send her well wishes following his diabetes diagnosis, the pair met for a lowkey coffee, and the attraction between them was instant.

And now JJ, who found fame on the E4 series last year, wishes it could have been Katie waiting for him at the end of the altar, as he admits to falling head over heels for the former glamour model.

He even confesses to messaging Katie years ago in a bid to strike up a romance, but he was ignored until he caught the TV star’s eye when she watched on the Channel 4 show.

JJ said: ‘It wasn’t something I was looking for… I had been on Married At First Sight UK, which was a stressful and intense experience but with Kate and I… it just happened super naturally.

‘We met for coffee and met as friends, and we got on really well as friends and it developed from there, which was really nice. There was no pressure, we both just really fancied and liked each other.

‘Kate actually reached out when she heard about my diabetes diagnosis saying she was really sorry to hear this and again, this is how something good has come from it… is Kate. She was being kind, which I appreciated and then it went from there…

‘Of course, she is obviously a very, very attractive lady and I do fancy her, she’s my girlfriend now… but I have always thought she was fit.’

Katie’s romantic life has seen get married three times and engaged eight times including to ex-partners Warren Furman, Scott Sullivan, Leandro Penna, Kris Boyson and most recently, former Love Island contestant Carl Woods.

Meanwhile, JJ took part in a TV wedding last year, which saw him marry Bianca Petronzi, before he started a new romance with Ella Morgan, who was the Channel 4 show’s first transgender bride.

But the clothing brand owner’s experience on the reality series – and Katie’s three failed marriages – haven’t put him off settling down with the model and says they are already planning their future together.

He said: ‘It would have been ideal on Married At First Sight if I was at the altar and I turned around and it was Kate walking down. It would have saved a lot of time.

‘We have said the L word. The thing is we get on so well and have so much fun together.

‘All I really want to do is make sure Kate is happy, support her, and be there for her, her being happy means I’m doing something right.

‘We are both adults and I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t see a future with them. So, that’s how I see it… we aren’t together to waste each other’s time… we are adults so of course, I see a future with her.
