Victoria Beckham has revealed she struggled to balance motherhood and her career when her children were younger.
The singer and fashion designer, 50, also admitted her and her husband David Beckham, 49, ‘didn’t have much of a social life ‘ when they were raising their family.
In her Vogue Australia interview with Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham revealed that she struggled to find balance and noted that she and her footballer husband didn’t rely on staff to raise their children.
The former Spice Girl explained that, despite having nannies and parental support, she still felt the pressure of juggling various commitments while striving to be the best mother she could.
She explained that she had felt a lot of pressure to be the best mother, wife, and have still have a successful career.
She said: ‘We’ve never had an enormous amount of staff, if you like. We do have nannies and we do have our parents, who have been amazing. But you do feel like you’re juggling.
‘You’re trying to be the best wife, the best mum, the best professional. We didn’t have much of a social life when the children were younger, that is just that one thing too much’
But the former singer said that as her children fly the nest, she and David ‘are in the next chapter’ and have shifted their focus.
Victoria and David were married on July 4, 1999 and share four children – Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19.
Brooklyn now lives in New York with his wife, model and actress, Nicola Peltz but the pair’s other children make regular appearances in their parent’s Instagram posts.
The youngest Beckham, Harper, 13, still lives with her parents but the fashionista explained to Nicole that she has her own friends and while the pair are very close, Victoria said that she’s very independent.
The tell-all interview comes as the former pop star graced the August cover of Vogue Australia.
The beauty showed off her incredible figure as she posed in a daring black mini dress.
Flashing a sultry look to the cameras, Victoria posed up a storm as she placed her arms above her head.
In another shot, Victoria wore an oversized white wool coat, olive bodysuit and a pair of quirky burgundy-coloured thigh-high boots.

She left her long brunette locks out and wore a natural makeup palette for the shoot.
In the accompanying interview led by Australian actress Nicole, Victoria opened up on her 25-year-long marriage to David.
‘I have a husband I very much am still in love with, possibly more than when we first met,’ she said.
And the couple proved how loved-up they still are by packing on the PDA as they soaked up the sun on their £16million superyacht in Positano, Italy on Saturday.
The couple, who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year, couldn’t keep their hands off one another as they cosied up while relaxing at the stern of the boat.
Victoria looked effortlessly styling in a black sports bra and miniskirt as she wrapped her legs over David who draped a white towel around his shoulders.
The fashion mogul shielded from the sun with a baseball cap and kept cool by tying her long brunette tresses back in a neat ponytail.
The couple seemed in good spirits as David went for a swim in the ocean while Victoria sat on the steps off the boat letting the sea splash her to cool off from the hot Italian sun.
