Lauryn Goodman has taken another swipe at Kyle Walker after a judge ruled her to be ‘unreasonable’ and slammed the demands she had made to the England vice-captain
Lauryn Goodman has attempted to take a swipe at Kyle Walker after she was defeated in court.
The Celebs Go Dating star, 34, shares two children with the Manchester City ace following a few brief flings.
However, Lauryn was slammed for attempting to treat Walker like an “open-ended chequebook” by a family court judge.
In the first of its kind, His Honour Judge Edward Hess made the decision to publicly share the records of Kyle and Lauryn’s court proceedings about their two children.
Her list of demands from Kyle, such as an astroturf for her home, a new car for her nanny who doesn’t drive, and redecoration of the house he brought her came to light. She also demanded air conditioning for the home she resides in with their two children, son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, one.
Court documents showed that Lauryn sought a lump sum of £33,000 to air condition the home due to it being south-facing and having a substantial amount of glazing. However, His Honour Judge Hess was “not persuaded that this demand by the mother was either necessary or reasonable,” due to the few days in England where it can be very hot. He agreed with Kyle, 34, that this could be treated by closing the blinds and deploying a household fan.
But Lauryn appeared to dispute this as she took to social media, sharing a news article which stated that the nation had seen demand for air conditioning units “soar”. A report by the Daily Mail claimed that estate agents had seen a 95 per cent increase in demand for properties to feature air-con, with a further 88 per cent rise in homes coming to the market with air conditioning units already installed.
Sharing a screenshot of the report with her 225,000 followers, Lauryn penned: “Oh the irony.” During the court case, it emerged that Lauryn had attempted to have Kyle and his wife Annie Kilner’s neighbours spy on them in their Cheshire home. Goodman, who claimed she worked told the court she had no plans to take up work and instead planned to be a “celebrity”, told the neighbour she was “Ready to finish them.”
But Lauryn’s swipes haven’t stopped there, as she recently claimed to a newspaper that Kyle had attempted to meet her at a London hotel following their initial court hearing. She claimed that Kyle suggested that the pair could “meet up in secret.” However, sources close to the Sheffield-born footballer have disputed this and claim it’s another tactic used by Lauryn to destroy their marriage.
They told the Mirror: “As detailed in court, Lauryn actively sought ways to destroy Kyle and Annie’s marriage, including asking the neighbour to spy on them and conspiring to ‘finish’ them. This new interview is a continuation of that – purely to get at Annie and try to dispel the truths that came out in court.”
They continued: “Kyle has no contact with Lauryn and anything said to her during the time when he was seeking to keep the paternity of her second child a secret was done in an attempt to stop her from activating the detonator. He had no intention of meeting her hence the message arriving over ten days after he had been in London. He wishes Lauryn and her children no ill will but just wishes she would stop fuelling the fire around the situation and leave all the drama behind.”
