Katie Holmes showcased her laid-back style while stepping out for a morning stroll in New York City on Tuesday.
The Batman Begins star, 45, sported a white sweatshirt and an oversized pair of mint joggers.
Completing the relaxed look were sneakers as well as black and white socks. Holmes shielded her eyes with a pair of sunglasses and wore her hair in a messy bun.
On her arm she carried a luxe Khaite envelope pleat tote, retailing for over $2,000.
The star – who was recently seen with a bruise near her eye – opted for a fresh-faced look, appearing makeup-free for her morning outing.
Katie has been enjoying a relatively low-key summer in her adopted hometown of NYC as she prepares to see her daughter Suri Cruise, 18, off to college.
Last week, Katie gave fans a glimpse at her home life by sharing selfies with her darling cat Eleanor.
In the snaps, a makeup-free Katie relaxed on the floor with Eleanor lying beside her.
Katie will soon be back in front of the camera as it was recently revealed that she will join the cast of Poker Face.
The Toledo native, best known for portraying Joey Potter on Dawson’s Creek, will be among the guest cast for the murder mystery series’ second season, alongside Natasha Lyonne.
Other guest stars include Giancarlo Esposito, Gaby Hoffmann and Kumail Nanjiani.
Previously, Poker Face welcomed actors like Chloë Sevigny and Judith Light as guest stars.
Holmes announced her casting on Instagram earlier this month.
‘Thank you [Natasha Lyonne] for having me!’ she captioned a screenshot of a Variety article confirming the exciting news.
Additionally, she described the gig as a ‘thrill.’
Holmes’ daughter, Suri – who is now using her mother’s middle name as a last name – recently graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Suri will attend Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this fall.
She is the child of divorced parents. Her father is Tom Cruise, who was married to Holmes from from 2006 to 2012.
In 2014, Holmes revealed her ‘main goal’ as a mother is ‘to just let’ Suri ‘know how much’ she loves her.
‘Just to let her know that she is so loved. When that’s the through line, who cares that my first two pancakes are always burned?’ she told PEOPLE.
‘Between tickle fights and glitter art, I try to throw in some manners along the way. I try to have good manners too, so that’s what she sees.’
The performer continued: ‘I also try to be very creative with her, because I know she’s an artist, and that speaks to the girl in me.’
During an August 2014 appearance on the Today show, Holmes shared: ‘The most important thing for me is letting her know how proud I am and that her accomplishments mean everything.
‘Whatever I do is whatever. It’s really just about her and that’s what I think is most important.’
Despite having little, if any, relationship with her dad, Suri is, according to sources, a happy and well-adjusted teen who has loved growing up in New York City.
