Katie Price has been slammed by fans after she was caught vaping in front of her terminally ill mother.
Amy Price was diagnosed with the terminal lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis back in 2017, and was left devastated.
Life expectancy is three to five years, and Katie was so heartbroken by her mum’s ill health that she designed a room in tribute to Amy in her lavish home, dubbed Mucky Mansion.
However, the mum-of-five has come under fire after sharing a video on Instagram as she prepared to mark Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month.
“This September, be a part of PF Awareness Month and help raise awareness of this devastating disease. Donate what you can to support life changing research @actionpulmonaryfibrosis,” she wrote alongside a harrowing video that demonstrated how sufferers feel.
Her furious fans came after her in the comments, as they noted that Katie had been spotted vaping in front of her poorly mother in several of her previous posts on her grid and in her Instagram Stories. “And yet you are incessantly vaping,” one commented, as another added: “Anyone actually believes that she’s stopped vaping??”
One fan fired: “Says the girl who vapes,” as another chimed in: “Took you long enough, she was diagnosed several years ago and got the transplant almost 2 years ago.”
“More cheap shots at gaining sympathy , have you no shame , don’t you realise everything you say and do demeans everything you touch,” one follower fumed, but her loyal fans were quick to jump to her defence. “Literally even when she does good people fine fault lol,” one quipped, as another added: “Your mam is incredible her book was fab honest truthful what a strong woman. All you prices are. It runs in the family.”
Katie has not only faced the wrath of her fans, but also from her ex-fiance Carl Woods, who spoke out about their tumultuous relationship in a new interview. Speaking to Closer magazine, the former Love Island star said Katie made “absolute mincemeat” out of him during their three-year relationship, and accused her of cheating. “We talk about cheating but this is just how life is when you’re with her, she’ll never stop,” he fumed.
