Adele and her husband Rich Paul, who got married in November last year, rocked up in the capital for a night out at the swanky Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone
Adele and her husband Rich Paul enjoyed a swanky night out in London on Friday.
The Someone Like You star, 36, and sports agent, 42, rocked up to celebrity haunt Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone where they stayed for 90 minutes on before jumping into a taxi.
Adele, who looked very glamorous sporting a cream suit with matching stilettos and a gold handbag, tried to keep a low profile as she left the venue.
Meanwhile, Rich, who cut a casual figure, sporting a denim shirt, black leather trousers and a baseball cap, held his wife’s hand as they hopped into a waiting car.
The pair, who met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, sent fans into a frenzy when it was revealed they had got hitched in November.
The Easy On Me star shared the happy news when a fan proposed to her at her Las Vegas residency. “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love. And my husband is here tonight.” In November 2023, reports suggested the two tied the knot when pop culture account Deuxmoi revealed the Someone Like You singer “confirmed” the couple’s status during pal Alan Carr’s US debut comedy tour in LA.
During an appearance on CBS Mornings, Rich was asked by host Gayle King if she could refer to Adele as “Mrs Paul”. He replied: “You can say whatever you want.” He then added: “It’s not for the media.”
After their low-key wedding, rumours started spreading about the couple’s plans to expand their family. Adele already has a son Angelo, 11, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki. Rich also has children – Reonna, Richie, and Zane – from a previous relationship.
Speaking to OK! magazine at the end of November last year, a source claimed: “Adele and Rich are so happy, she’s so in love and they’re an amazing team – she’s never felt happier or healthier. She and Rich are planning to have a baby, it’s her dream to have a big family.”
The Tottenham-born star has been open about her desire to have more children. During one of her concerts, she said that having another child wasn’t a matter of “if” but “when”. The broody singer even thought of adorable baby names, too. Adele told fans she had been writing down baby names in her phone’s notes app while chatting to a fan during a recent show.
The singer’s husband is a huge name in the US sporting world, having founded the Klutch Sports Group, a management company representing some of basketball’s biggest stars, including LeBron James, Ben Simmons and Trae Young.
According to PEOPLE, he also oversaw the New Orleans Pelicans’ trade of Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers, who would go on to win the championship in 2020. Rich was described as “absolutely unrelenting in getting his players what they want, and he will use every means available to him to do that” in a profile published in The New Yorker.
