Pete Davidson has checked into wellness facility seeking treatment for his mental health, it has been claimed.
The news comes as DailyMail.com exclusively revealed the former SNL star recently admitted to still using marijuana, after quitting both cocaine and ketamine use.
There are many so-called ‘wellness facilities’ across California that are considered to be luxury rehab centers. It is unclear which facility the 30-year-old is staying at.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for the star who have so far been unavailable for comment.
A source told PEOPLE on Wednesday that mental health has ‘always been a priority’ for the actor.
The rehab stint comes after Davidson completed more than 200 live stand-up comedy shows across the country.
He previously entered a rehabilitation facility in July 2023, for treatment related to his post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder diagnoses.
The star even joked about his “‘post-rehab glow’ during a comedy show in Atlantic City last year.
A separate source told PEOPLE that ‘Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time.’
This month, Davidson spoke for the first time since his reckless driving case was dismissed, during his standup comedy show on July 20 in Atlantic City.
Wearing a baseball cap, a blue Ocean Casino Resort hoodie and baggy black cargo pants, Pete, according to an eyewitness who spoke exclusively with DailyMail.com, told the crowd at Ovation Hall that he got a call about his charges being dropped and responded, ‘Hooray? I guess.’
At the time, police said at the time that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
Pete, who previously completed a rehab stint last summer after struggling with borderline personality disorder and PTSD, said he now just smokes weed.
‘I can’t quit yet. It’s all I have left. I did coke and ketamine and f**king all the pills and all that s**t. All I have is weed left, so it’s almost over, but I’m holding on for a little bit longer,’ he told the audience Saturday night.
