Professional footballer Kyle Walker made a rare appearance on social media just as Lauryn Goodman made her eagerly awaited Celebs Go Dating debut.
As Lauryn tore into her ‘ex fling’ and blasted him for destroying her ability to trust with his ‘sick games’,
Kyle, 34, took to Instagram on Wednesday night to share a picture of himself shopping for golf clubs, as he appeared to put her TV appearance behind him.
Inn the snap a smiling Kyle was seen casually dressed in a a blue top, dark trousers and a baseball cap while inside the store.
Kyle was joined by pal Michael Brown- who played for Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspur. Sharing the photo first, Michael wrote: “Thanks to [Clubhouse Golf] for looking after myself and [Kyle]. What a set up and service.”
His post was then reposted by Man City ace Kyle just as the mother of his two children Lauryn, 33, made a dramatic and tearful debut on Celebs Go Dating.
She’s a late addition to the latest series of the E4 show, having appeared for the first time on Wednesday night, shortly after Kyle’s post was uploaded.
The episode saw Lauryn sob as she reflected on her affair with Walker. She recalled getting pregnant by Kyle for the first time when he was on a break from his now-wife Annie Kilner in 2019. Kyle later reconciled with Annie, whom he’s since married, but Lauryn gave birth to their second child last year after they secretly hooked up. Lauryn shared during her Celebs Go Dating debut that she has trust issues following their history. Speaking of her second pregnancy, she said: “I think we were very shocked. It was kind of one of those moments of here we go again. As I got further along in my pregnancy, the kind of secret got heavier and heavier and heavier. I actually felt like I was losing a part of myself. Then I was getting sent videos of his wife pregnant […] which knocked me sideways.”
She continued: “I just remember I just kept being like ‘what? has been some sort of sick game?’” Asked how she now feels about him, she said: “I’m so angry with him.” When probed further, Lauryn claimed she’s over “toxic” relationships.
